Bank Holidays in April 2024: Bank is one of the important financial institutions. In such a situation, if there is a holiday in banks for a long time, then many times people's important work gets stuck. The month of March is about to end and now April will begin. In the first month of the new financial year, there will be a holiday in banks for 14 out of 30 days. Reserve Bank has done it.

Banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in different states

According to the holiday list released by the Reserve Bank of India, banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in April 2024. The thing to note is that the holiday list is prepared according to the festivals and anniversaries falling in different states. There will be bank holidays on these days in April 2024-

• 1 April 2024- Due to annual closing, there will be holiday in banks across the country.
• 5 April 2024- There is going to be a holiday in banks in Telangana, Jammu and Srinagar due to Babu Jagjivan Ram birthday and Jumat Jumatul Vida.
• 7 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks due to Sunday.
• 9 April 2024- There will be holiday in banks in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Srinagar due to Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year and first Navratri.
• 10 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks in Kochi, Kerala due to Eid.
• 11 April 2024- Due to Eid, banks will remain closed in the entire country except Chandigarh, Gangtok, Kochi.
• 13 April 2024- Due to second Saturday, there will be holiday in banks throughout.
• 14 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks due to Sunday.
• 15 April 2024- Banks are going to remain closed in Guwahati and Shimla due to Bohag Bihu and Himachal Day.
• 17 April 2024- Due to Ram Navami, banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur.
• 20 April 2024- There will be holiday in banks in Agartala due to Garia Puja.
• 21 April 2024- Due to Sunday, entire banks will remain closed.
• 27 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks due to fourth Saturday.
• 28 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks due to Sunday.

In case of long holidays in banks, customers have to face problems, but now technology has made many things easier. You can transfer money from one account to another through net banking or mobile banking sitting at home. Money can also be transferred through UPI. You can use ATM to withdraw cash.
