The first phase of voting for Lok Sabha 2024 is going to take place in many states of the country on 19 April 2024. Apart from this, voting will also be held for assembly elections in some states. Tomorrow, by-elections are to be held in Vilavancode constituency of Kanyakumari district for Lok Sabha elections 2024, Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. Due to this, banks are going to remain closed tomorrow in Agartala, Aizawl, Chennai, Dehradun, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Kohima, Nagpur and Shillong. The Uttarakhand government had already declared a public holiday on April 19 in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
Lok Sabha elections are to be held in 7 phases-
Lok Sabha elections 2024 are to be held in a total of 7 phases. The first phase will be held on 19 April, the second phase on 26 April, the third phase on 7 May, the fourth phase on 13 May, the fifth phase on 20 May, the sixth phase on 25 May and the seventh and final phase on 1 June 2024. The results of Lok Sabha elections will be declared on June 4.
