Bangladesh have won only 2 ODI series and 13 series at home since the 2015 World Cup

Bangladesh vs Ireland, 3rd ODI: Bangladesh won the series 2-0 with a one-sided 10-wicket win in the third match of the 3-match ODI series being played against Ireland at home. With this series win, it is Bangladesh’s 13th win out of 15 ODI series since the 2015 ODI World Cup on Bangladesh’s home soil.

Before the 3-match ODI series against Ireland, the Bangladesh team had to face a 2-0 defeat in the series played against England. Even before this, the team had lost in the ODI series against England itself. Out of these 15 ODI series, Bangladesh team has won 3 times in Zimbabwe while 2-2 times in ODI series against India and West Indies.

Talking about the third ODI, there was a great performance by the bowlers of the Bangladesh team, in which they bundled out Ireland’s innings for just 101 runs in 28.1 overs. Hasan Ahmed took 5 wickets in bowling for Bangladesh, while Taskin Ahmed took 3 wickets while Ibadat Hussain took 2 wickets.

Won the first ODI by 183 runs

Talking about the first match of this ODI series, it was won by the Bangladesh team by a huge margin of 183 runs. In this match, where Shakib Al Hasan played an innings of 93 runs, Tauhid scored 92 runs, due to which the team was able to score 338 runs in 50 overs. At the same time, Ireland’s team was reduced to 155 runs in just 30.5 overs. The second match of this ODI series was canceled due to rain.
