Ram Navami 2024 in Ayodhya: On April 17, the enthusiasm for Ram Navami (Ram Navami 2024) is at its peak across the country. Since this is the first birth anniversary to be celebrated after the construction of Ram temple, there is a possibility of a crowd of lakhs of devotees in it.
At present, since the opening of Ayodhya Ram temple on January 22, about one lakh devotees visit Ramlala every day. But this year there is a possibility of record breaking crowd on Ram Navami.
For the convenience of the devotees coming for darshan on Ram Navami, the Ram Mandir pilgrimage site has provided some special facilities. Besides, an appeal has also been made to follow some special instructions while coming for darshan.
What will be the arrangements in Ayodhya for Ram devotees on Ram Navami?
On the occasion of Ram Navami, Lord Shri Ram will give more darshan to his devotees than on normal days. Considering the number of devotees on Ram Navami, it has been decided to increase the time of darshan of Ramlala from daily. During this period, the darshan time has been increased to 19 hours.
This darshan usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour daily. But considering the crowd on Ram Navami, devotees may have to stand in the queue for some time.
On the day of Ram Navami, Lord Ram can be seen from Mangala Aarti in the morning till 11 pm. Mangala Aarti of Ramlala is performed every day at 4:30 am. In such a situation, on Ramnavmi, Ramlala will bless his devotees from 4:30 am to 11 pm.
Even during Naivedh the temple will remain closed for only five minutes.
Prasad is offered to Ramlala four times a day. During the day, Ram temple remains closed for darshan during Artya and Naived. But this time the pilgrimage has tried to save Ram Navami. The temple will remain closed only for five minutes for the four prasads held during the day, so that the devotees are not inconvenienced. They will not have to stand in queue for long.
Darshan queues open from 3:30 am
On the day of Ram Navami, there will be arrangements to stand in the darshan queue during Brahma Muhurta only. Devotees can queue up for darshan one hour before the start of Mangala Aarti of Ramlala.

In view of the crowd on Ram Navami, Nirmaya Ram Mandir pilgrimage site has decided not to issue any special darshan pass and aarti pass. The temple has requested all Ram devotees to have darshan from the same queue. Along with this, special guests or VVIPs have been requested by Ram Janmabhoomi to avoid the crowd and come for darshan only after April 19.
No VIP pass, Sugam Darshan pass and Mangala Aarti, Shringaar Aarti and Shayan Aarti passes will be issued from 16th to 19th April.
How should devotees save their time?
While coming for darshan in Ram temple on the day of Ram Navami, it has been requested not to bring phone for easy darshan. Phones and other valuables are not allowed inside the Ram temple. It takes about half an hour to put the phone or your luggage in the locker and get it back. In view of the crowd on Ram Navami, pressure on locker service will be increased. You may have to wait a long time to keep your mobile or other items in the locker on that day. Devotees have been requested not to carry mobile phones with them while coming for darshan so that this time can be read and the darshan can be done quickly.
Be careful of the sun!
The mercury in Ayodhya is currently above forty. Everyone is being urged to take care to protect themselves from the sun. Special mats have also been laid in the temple premises to protect the feet of the devotees from getting burnt by the sun. Devotees have also been requested to protect themselves from the sun by covering their heads. A special facility has been created to facilitate the return journey of the devotees.
In view of the crowd of devotees coming from all over the country on Ram Navami, a railway reservation center will also be set up in the passenger convenience center located at Darshan Marg. Therefore, special arrangements have been made by Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra so that the devotees coming on Ram Navami do not face any problem and can get darshan easily.
