At the end of today's trading, BSE Sensex closed at 73,088 points with a jump of 600 points, while Nifty closed at 22,147 points with a jump of 151 points.

The market cap of stocks listed on BSE has closed at Rs 393.47 lakh crore whereas in the last session the market cap of the market was Rs 392.89 lakh crore. In today's trading session, a jump of Rs 58,000 crore was seen in the market cap.

The market regained momentum but midcap and smallcap stocks closed in the red.
