Wrestler Divya Kakran Defends Brijbhushan Sharan Singh Blamed By Vinesh Phogat Physical Assault

WFI President Controversy: Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh is going through a difficult time. He has been accused of sexual harassment by female wrestler Vinesh Phogat. Along with Vinesh, many wrestlers including Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia are protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. They allege that the Federation is harassing them mentally. But now a new twist has come in this matter. Wrestler Divya Kakran has denied the allegations leveled against Brij Bhushan Singh. Divya has tweeted three videos. In this, he has said many things related to the Federation.

Indian wrestler Divya Kakran has supported the President of Wrestling Federation Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. He said, “Many allegations are being leveled against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh sir. Those who are going to picket didn’t get any answer, so they are finding more allegations. I go to the camp since 2013 when I was 14 years old and today in 2023 I enroll myself in the camp. I have been in the camp for 10 years and till date I have not seen anything said to any girl. Rather, they take care that there is no discrimination against anyone.

Divya said, “I do not understand one thing that the same people who are sitting on dharna were saying in their interview two months ago that our wrestling has changed since Brij Bhushan ji came. These are the same people, when the award comes, they say that the award has been received because of you sir. Because you don’t let anything come in the way and you don’t let any discrimination happen.

Significantly, Vinesh had accused Brij Bhushan Singh and said, “The players who lost in the Tokyo Olympics were mentally tortured. The Federation and Brij Bhushan Singh made me a traitor. The speaker called me a fake coin. The whole country knows what it means.
