Modi Government Distributes Loan Amounting To 4,606.36 Crore Rupees To 45.32 Lakh Beneficiaries Under PM SVANidhi Scheme

PM SVANidhi Scheme: The Modi Government at the Center keeps coming up with various schemes from time to time for the poor sections of the country. The name of one of those schemes is PM Swanidhi Yojana (PM SVANidhi Scheme). Under this scheme, the government provides the facility of loan without guarantee to the street vendors (Government Scheme for Street Vendors). Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has given a big information about PM Swanidhi Yojana. According to Puri, the central government has given a total loan of Rs 4,606.36 crore to 45.32 lakh street vendors across the country in the last 2 years under the PM Swanidhi scheme.

Money transferred to account through digital transaction

Hardeep Singh Puri has given this information while participating in a program of PM Swanidhi Yojana. He said that the street vendors of the country affected by the Corona epidemic have received great financial help from this scheme from the central government. Lakhs of people have started their employment through this scheme. Along with this, he told that out of the amount of about Rs 45,000 crore, Rs 37.70 crore has been transferred to the street vendors’ account through digital transaction.

What is PM Swanidhi Scheme?

In the year 2020, crores of people lost their jobs due to the Corona epidemic. In such a situation, the government had started PM SVANidhi Scheme for the financial help of street vendors. Under this scheme, the government gives loans ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 to street vendors without any guarantee. For the first time, the government gives a loan of Rs 10,000 to street vendors. After this you have to repay this loan within 1 year. If a person repays this loan within 1 year, then he gets 20,000 loan for the second time. At the same time, for the third time, the street vendors can get a loan of up to Rs 50,000 without any guarantee. 7 percent interest rate is available on this loan. You can also repay this loan in the form of EMI every month. Along with this, the government also provides subsidy on payment in digital mode.

Process of applying for loan-

• You can apply for PM Swanidhi scheme by going to any government bank.
• There the street vendor will have to fill a loan form.
• Along with this, a copy of Aadhaar Card will have to be given.
• After this the bank will approve your loan and transfer the money to your bank account.
• Note that it is necessary to have a bank account and Aadhaar card to avail the scheme.
