Randeep Hooda garners love and appreciation for OTT debut on Netflix with 'Cat'

The actor has finally made his OTT debut with Netflix Cat, Once again, people are sitting up to notice Hooda’s performance in the crime thriller based in Punjab.

Randeep Hooda plays Gurnam Singh, a police informer who was active during the 1990 insurgency. As a teenager, Gary becomes embroiled in a drug-trafficking conspiracy and becomes a police informant known as ‘Kat’. Later, he adopts the identity of Gurnam Singh in order to steer his younger siblings away from the world of crime and drugs.

However, when his younger brother is arrested for drug trafficking, he again seeks help from an old police officer who helped him during his arrest as a teenager. In exchange for his brother’s life, he agrees to infiltrate a major drug cartel.
