Petrol Diesel Price on 28 March 2023: Every day the price of petrol and diesel in India is issued by the government oil companies. Petrol-Diesel prices are mainly decided on the basis of crude oil prices. In the last few days, there is a huge upsurge in the prices of crude oil in the international market. After a slight increase of 0.12 percent in the price of WTI Crude Oil on Tuesday, it is trading at $ 72.90 per barrel.

On the other hand, talking about Brent Crude Oil, it has registered a decline of 0.04 percent and is trading at $ 78.09 per barrel. The effect of upsurge in the prices of crude oil is visible on the price of petrol and diesel today. Today there has been a change in the price of petrol and diesel in Chennai, one of the metro cities. Petrol in Chennai has become costlier by 10 paise and diesel by 09 paise and is being sold at Rs 102.73 and Rs 94.33 a litre. On the other hand, prices have remained stable in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.

Petrol is being sold 9 paise costlier and diesel 7 paise cheaper at Rs 96.67 and Rs 89.75 a liter in Noida area adjacent to Delhi. In Gurugram, petrol is costlier by 4 paise and diesel by 4 paise and is available at Rs 96.97 and Rs 89.80 a litre. Petrol in Jaipur is being sold at Rs 109.46 and Rs 93.99 a liter after becoming costlier by 68 paise and diesel by 27 paise. Whereas in Patna, petrol is being sold 50 paise cheaper and diesel 30 paise costlier at Rs 107.62 and Rs 94.86 a litre. Petrol is being sold 53 paise and diesel 31 paise costlier in Ranchi at Rs 100.68 and Rs 94.96 a litre.

• Kolkata- Petrol Rs 106.03, diesel Rs 92.76 per liter

• Mumbai- Petrol Rs 106.31, diesel Rs 94.27 per liter
