Michael Bracewell is the cousin of New Zealand fast bowler Doug Bracewell. He is the explosive batsman of the lower middle order of the Kiwi team. Apart from the New Zealand national team, Michael Bracewell has represented New Zealand Under-19, Wellington and Otago teams. Although he has not played much international cricket yet. But in a short time, he was able to establish himself as an aggressive batsman. His aggressive style is confirmed by his 140 off 78 balls in the first ODI against India. He has represented New Zealand in all formats in the last one year. Bracewell’s specialty is apart from explosive batting, he has the ability to do wicketkeeping and off-spin bowling.

During this, he has scored 178 runs in Tests, 462 runs in ODIs and 90 runs in T20s. Batting at number seven in ODIs, he has scored two centuries so far.
