Kelsea Ballerini responds to Chase Stokes dating rumors

Others told Ballerini that she should ignore Internet users who jump to conclusions about her personal life.

Rumors began swirling that the 29-year-old “Rose” songstress was dating the 30-year-old actor after she posted a photo to Instagram last Friday of her looking cozy at a football game. In another picture, the pair got closer while posing together in a group photo.

Stokes tagged Ballerini in his post but did not make any further reference to their outing together.

Ballerini has not dated anyone publicly since the finalization of her divorce from Morgan Evans in November 2022. She filed to end their nearly five-year marriage in August.

“I think when there’s a big life decision, it’s not sudden,” she told CBS in October of the breakup. “A lot happens before I go public. So, I’m on my active healing journey.

Stokes has also been on the dating market since breaking up with his “Outer Banks” co-star Madeline Kline in November 2021. The pair called things off after being together for over a year.

A source told us at the time that “things got really bad between Chase and Madeline in September, and they were openly talking to friends about the breakup by October.”

After separation, Stokes seems to be enjoying a lot.

Page Six reported that he was seen having sex with 22-year-old Val Bragg in December 2021, and he was also seen partying with multiple women at a Miami club on New Year’s Day in January 2022.

While it’s unclear whether or not Ballerini and Stokes are truly an item, several fans expressed that they are “here for this.”
