Glenn Maxwell’s leg not 100 per cent fit for IPL 2023 Royal Challengers Bangalore

Glenn Maxwell, IPL 2023: IPL 2023 has come very close. Only a few days are left for the tournament to start. In November 2022, Glenn Maxwell had a fracture in his leg. He was hurt in the birthday party. After this, he was away from international cricket for about 6 months. He has reached Bengaluru for IPL 2023, but before that he gave a big update on his injury which can become a matter of concern for Bengaluru.

It will take a few months to recover 100 percent

Through a video posted through RCB’s social media, Maxwell told, “The leg is fine. It will take a few months for me to recover 100 percent. Hopefully it (feet) will be good for the tournament and will also do its job. Talking further, the batsman said, “Finally making a comeback after a few years. It is very exciting and I am very excited to play in front of my home fans.

Significantly, he appeared in the first match of the ODI series played against India recently. While batting in this match, he scored 8 runs and bowled 2 overs in which he spent 7 runs.

IPL 2022 was good

Playing for Bengaluru, Maxwell scored 301 runs in 13 matches of IPL 2022 at an average of 27.36 and a blistering strike rate of 169.10. In this, he had scored a half-century. At the same time, he took a total of 6 wickets in bowling, in which his economy was 6.88.
