Krunal Pandya Birthday: Hardik Pandya’s brother Krunal Pandya is going to play IPL with Lucknow Super Giants this year too. Until a few years ago, both Hardik and Krunal used to play cricket for Mumbai Indians, but in IPL 2022, Hardik Pandya became the captain of Gujarat Titans and Krunal Pandya was included in his team by Lucknow Super Giants. In IPL 2023 also, Krunal Pandya will be seen playing cricket for Lucknow. The 16th season of IPL is going to start soon but before that Krunal Pandya has celebrated his birthday with his team Lucknow Super Giants.
Krunal Pandya has turned 32 on 24 March 2023. Krunal celebrated his 32nd birthday with his current IPL team Lucknow Super Giants. Lucknow Super Giants has shared Krunal Pandya’s birthday video on his social media account, in which Krunal is seen celebrating his birthday with his teammates. While celebrating his birthday, Krunal also spoke to his brother Hardik Pandya and sister-in-law Natasha via video call. Along with Krunal Pandya, his wife was also present in the camp of Lucknow Super Giants.
Krunal’s cricketing career
Krunal is an all-rounder who can bowl left-arm orthodox and bat left-handed. In the IPL, Krunal has so far scored 1326 runs in 98 matches at an average of 22 and a strike rate of 136.7. During this, his best score has been 86 runs. Talking about Krunal’s bowling record in IPL, he has taken a total of 61 wickets in 98 matches so far. During this, his economy rate is 7.31 and his best bowling performance is to take three wickets for 14 runs.
Krunal made his international debut for the Indian cricket team on 4 November 2018 when he played a T20 match against the West Indies at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Talking about the same IPL, Krunal played his first IPL match on 16 April 2016 against Gujarat Lions. While Krunal played his last IPL match on 25 May 2022 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Now it has to be seen what special Krunal can do for his IPL team Lucknow Super Giants with this.
