Robin Uthappa Says MS Dhoni Will Eat Butter Chicken But Without The Chicken

Robin Uthappa on MS Dhoni: Former Team India cricketer Robin Uthappa has revealed the strange eating habit of MS Dhoni. He has told that when it comes to food, Dhoni walks a little differently in this too. He told that Dhoni eats butter chicken but without chicken. Uthappa said this in the show ‘My Time with Heroes’ to be telecast on Geo Cinema.

Robin Uthappa has shared the dressing room with Dhoni for a long time. From international cricket to IPL, both have played a lot of cricket together. While both the players were also members of the winning team of T20 World Cup 2007, till the last IPL season both were together in Chennai Super Kings. In such a situation, both these players know each other’s habits very well.

‘Butter Chicken without Chicken’
Uthappa told, ‘We always used to eat food together. We had a group, which included Suresh Raina, Irfan Pathan, RP Singh, Piyush Chawla, Munaf Patel, MS and me. We used to order Dal Makhani, Butter Chicken, Jeera Aloo, Cabbage and Rotis. Dhoni was different in terms of food here. He will eat butter chicken but without the chicken. He only used to eat bread with gravy. If he is eating chicken, then understand that he will not eat roti.

‘Please just call me Mahi’
During this, Uthappa also told the story of going to CSK camp for the first time. He told, ‘When I joined CSK for the first time, I saw that everyone in the squad used to call him Mahi Bhai. I then went to him and asked if I also wanted to call him Mahi Bhai, to which he refused. He said whatever you want to say, it doesn’t matter. You just call me Mahi.
