Shawn Mendes addresses Sabrina Carpenter dating rumors

Shawn Mendes shut down online speculation that he and Sabrina Carpenter are dating.

“We are not dating,” Mendes told Dutch TV program “RTL Boulevard” on Friday.

The “Stitches” singer then suggested that they talk about his partnership with Tommy Hilfiger “probably more than Sabrina, but thank you.”

Meanwhile, Carpenter has stayed tight-lipped on the matter and her rep didn’t immediately return to Page Six’s request for comment.

Mendes and Carpenter first sparked romance rumors when the celebrity gossip Instagram account Deuxmoi posted a tip that they looked “verrry comfortable” while “clearly on a date” at Horses in Los Angeles last month.

Since then, the two have only fueled speculation.

The Canadian heartthrob, 24, and the “Nonsense” songstress, 23, were photographed at Miley Cyrus’ “Endless Summer Vacation” album release party together last week in Beverly Hills where they allegedly left in the same car together.

The duo were also spotted running errands together wearing casual attire in Los Angeles shortly after the Deuxmoi post.

Prior to Carpenter, Mendes had been romantically linked to his 51-year-old chiropractor, Dr. Jocelyne Miranda, since last summer.

The two were even photographed showing off their fit bods while on a hike together at Runyon Canyon Park in Los Angeles last month – just days before his errand outing with Carpenter.

Mendes has not publicly dated someone since breaking up with Camila Cabello in November 2021 after two years together.

“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for another as humans is stronger than ever,” the “Havana” songstress and Mendes wrote in a joint statement at the time.

Meanwhile, Carpenter was romantically linked to Dylan O’Brien last September after having a tumultuous “situationship” with “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” Joshua Basset.
