Sukesh Chandrasekhar extortion case: Famous TV actress Chahat Khanna has recorded her statement in Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Tuesday in the Rs 200 crore extortion case related to Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Pinky Irani, a close aide of Sukesh, was arrested by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police in November. According to sources, Pinky allegedly contacted the model and actress on behalf of the thug and asked them to meet or talk on the phone and also gave expensive gifts to the actress.

Khanna and Sophia Singh, Arusha Patil met Sukesh in the jail premises and he introduced himself as a producer from the southern film industry. Irani arranges his meeting with Sukesh. All four actresses were given expensive gifts from famous brands like Gucci, Vasarche and Louis Vuitton.

“Sukesh also transferred around Rs 5.20 lakh to the account of Patil, who admitted that he had met him but did not meet him in jail,” the source said. When Irani introduced Khanna to Sukesh, the actress was reportedly given Rs 2 lakh and a blue Versace watch. Sukesh allegedly deposited Rs 2 lakh in Singh’s account and later gifted him an LV bag, besides giving him another Rs 1.5 lakh later. Irani took Rs 10 lakh from Sukesh to introduce him to Tamboli and he gave Rs 1.5 lakh to Tamboli. Sources said that Sukesh later presented her a Gucci bag and Rs 2 lakh on their first meeting.
