Giving information about this, the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vinay Dubey said that the company is soon going to order 3 digit i.e. hundreds of aircraft. Along with this, the CEO has also given information about the international plan of the airlines. He said that the company will start its international services by the end of 2023.

The company will order 300 new aircraft

Along with this, Vinay Dubey (Akasa Air CEO Vinay Dubey) also informed that the company has already ordered 72 new aircraft for its expansion. In this, delivery of 18 aircraft has also been given. Along with this, the company is planning to order hundreds of aircraft by the end of the year. He said that he would not disclose the number of aircraft, but it would certainly be a huge number. Along with the planes, the company is going to recruit at least 300 new pilots by next year. Along with this, there is also a plan to open a learning center of Akasa Air in Bengaluru.

3,500 pilots will be recruited in the next 10 years

Akasa Air CEO Vinay Dubey further said that as the delivery of new aircraft goes on, we will also need more pilots. Airlines can recruit at least 3,500 pilots in the next 10 years. Indigo and Air India have also ordered planes on a large scale

Apart from Akasa Air, the country’s largest airline company Indigo has placed an order for about 500 aircraft. Along with this, Go First Air has placed an order to buy 72 aircraft and Vistara from Boeing Company. 17 is going to buy the aircraft. In this way, these airline companies are going to buy about 1,115 new aircraft. Apart from this, Air India has placed this order for a total of 840 aircraft, making the biggest deal in the aviation industry. Under this order, 470 aircraft will be purchased from Airbus and Boeing over the next decade, while it includes the option to buy 370 aircraft.
