CSK vs LSG: In the match against Lucknow Super Giants, Chennai Super Kings scored 210 runs while playing first. The maximum runs for Chennai were scored by captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, who scored a stormy century in 56 balls. He scored 108 runs in 60 balls in the match, which also included 12 fours and 3 sixes. His 104-run partnership with Shivam Dubey helped Chennai Super Kings reach the score of 210 runs. The start was not good for CSK as Ajinkya Rahane got out after scoring just 1 run. Whereas Daryl Mitchell also returned to the pavilion after scoring only 11 runs. The team had fallen by 2 wickets within 50 runs. In such a situation, Ravindra Jadeja also contributed 16 runs in 19 balls.

Wickets were falling from one side, but captain Gaikwad was standing at the crease. In the 12th over, the team's third wicket fell in the form of Ravindra Jadeja at the score of 101 runs. But from here, the explosive partnership of Shivam Dubey and Rituraj Gaikwad broke the back of LSG's bowling. Both the batsmen together scored 104 runs in the next 47 balls. On one hand, Gaikwad played a century, while Dubey scored 66 runs in just 27 balls by hitting fours and sixes. He also hit 3 fours and 7 sixes during his stormy innings. MS Dhoni was at the crease on the last ball, who hit a four and took CSK to the score of 210 runs.
