Zomato Update: Online food delivery company Zomato has once again launched the Loyalty Program offer Zomato Gold. Under Zomato Gold, users will be offered discounts on dining and food delivery. However, to avail this service, users will have to pay Rs 149 for three months.
Users taking Zomato Gold will get Unlimited Free Delivery within a radius of 10 km. According to Zomato, Zomato Gold is a brand new membership with a familiar name. In which free delivery to users, guaranteed delivery without delay, VIP access during rush hour and many other offers are also included. Zomato users who have a Pro or Pro Plus membership with the edition card, their membership will remain active till February 23, 2023, after which they will be given a three-month Zomato Gold membership.
Earlier, Zomato has discontinued the service which used to deliver within 10 minutes on its app, which was known as Zomato Instant. Zomato started 10-minute food delivery service from Delhi NCR and Bangalore last year. The company was facing difficulties in expanding and popularizing this service. The company was not able to get enough orders even for 10 minutes delivery due to which the company was not able to recover its fixed cost. The company has said that it will not stop 10-minute delivery, but it will be rebranded.
Zomato started the 10-minute food delivery service in March 2022. It was being offered through Zomato’s finishing station where 20 to 20 based selling dishes from different restaurants were stocked.
