WPL 2023 Indian batsman Yastika Bhatia bowls her first ball of the tournament and Ashley Gardner bowls her first over of GG vs MI Women

GG vs MI Women: The first season of the Women’s Premier League has begun. The first match of the tournament is being played between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants. The first match is being played at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. In this match, Gujarat Giants won the toss and decided to bowl first. Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Mathews came to the opening from Mumbai Indians. In this, Yastika Bhatia faced the first ball of women’s IPL. In the match, Ashley Gardner bowled the first ball of the tournament for Gujarat Giants.

Harmanpreet Kaur is leading the Mumbai Indians in this match, while the Australian wicket-keeper batsman is captaining the Gujarat Giants. Ashley Gardner, who bowled the first over in the tournament, is also a player of the Australia Women’s team. He spent just 2 runs in his first over. A total of four balls of the first over of the tournament were dots, while single runs came on the fifth and sixth balls. Indian batsman Yastika Bhatia, playing for Mumbai, became the first run-scorer in the history of women’s IPL.
