PAK vs NZ, World Cup 2023: Important information has come to light regarding the warm-up match to be held between Pakistan and New Zealand before the World Cup. The warm-up match to be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on October 29 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad will be played without spectators. According to media reports, this decision has been taken due to two big festivals on October 28. Those spectators who booked tickets for the match will be refunded their money.
According to a report in ‘Indian Express’, a BCCI official said, “The match will be played without spectators and those who have booked tickets will be refunded their money.”
The police had asked the Hyderabad Cricket Association to postpone the match as they would not be able to arrange adequate security due to Ganesh Visarjan and Milad-un-Nabi festivals on September 28. Changes have already been made in the schedule, due to which the demand to extend the match cannot be met. Therefore, it was decided to hold the match without spectators.
Even before this the security agency had raised its hands
Let us tell you that even before this, concern has been expressed by the Security Agency of Hyderabad regarding two consecutive matches. Two consecutive World Cup matches are to be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on 9 and 10 October. The match will be played between New Zealand and Netherlands on 9th and between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on 10th. Around 3,000 police personnel will be required for one match and apart from this, a large number of police personnel will also have to be deployed in the hotel where the Pakistan team will stay.
World Cup will start from October 5
It is noteworthy that the World Cup will start from October 5. The first match of the tournament will be played between defending champions England and last season’s runner-up New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Team India will play its first match against Australia on 8 October.
