How are emoji made?

Colored emoji began to be used from 1998 to early 1999. Shigetaka Kurita actually created this emoji for a telecom company. These emoji are designed to help people express their message better with fewer words. Earlier the number of characters to send an email was only 250. People could not convey their feelings to another person in so few words. To overcome this problem, Kurita first started making emoji. For this, they took ideas from comic books, lightbulbs, tickle bombs and the weather, and then created emoji that represent the emotions of these images, such as smileys, anger, surprise and confusion.

First in 2007, Apple introduced the emoji keyboard in its iPhone. Using this, iPhone users can express their feelings with the content of the person in front of them. Gradually it became popular all over the world. Its popularity grew so much that in 2013 the word emoji was included in the Oxford English Dictionary. Subsequently, in 2015, the emoji were named the best of the year, and then in 2016, the Museum of Modern Art in New York added to its permanent collection the first set of 176 emoji by Shigataka Kurita, which he created for the first time.
