Vistara Crisis is affecting many routes Air Fare 30 to 38 percent Increase is visible in fares

Vistara Crisis: There is a stir in India's aviation sector due to the Vistara crisis. Vistara had canceled more than 125 flights till Wednesday and now air passengers are bearing the brunt of its impact. After the analyzed data, it has been found that due to Vistara crisis, air fares on many main routes or main destinations have increased by 35 percent.

If you have to travel by air and your ticket is not booked in advance, then now the burden on your pocket has increased. According to the data given on Cleartrip, due to cancellation of Vistara flights, fares on many main routes have skyrocketed and passengers have to pay 30-38 percent more fare.

See the increased fares of some routes

Fares on the Delhi-Srinagar air route have increased by 30 percent and this increase is being seen in the tickets of all the airlines. Since passengers have to travel by air for their important work or travel and if they have not booked tickets in advance, then the airlines are charging very high prices at this time.

However, DGCA had taken immediate steps as soon as the news about this came and also sought answers from Vistara. Apart from this, the Civil Aviation Ministry is also keeping an eye on this issue and their stance is that arrangements should be made so that passengers do not have to face problems.

Which routes have been affected?

Due to Vistara pilots going on leave together, the routes on which flight operations have been affected mainly include flying routes like Delhi-Indore, Delhi-Srinagar, Mumbai-Kochi, Bengaluru-Udaipur. An increase in air fares on these routes has been recorded ranging from 30-35 percent to 30-38 percent.

Explosive fares on Bengaluru-Udaipur route

The air fares on this route, which were just above Rs 4300 on March 5, have reached above Rs 6000 by April 2. That means an increase of about 36-38 percent has been seen due to the Vistara crisis.
