Demanded from CAS to share the silver medal
Vinesh Phogat has appealed against this decision in the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS). She is demanding to share the silver medal. But, United World Wrestling (UWW) has made it clear that there will be no change in the existing weight rules for the time being.
“I have no problem with this (India’s appeal) but I know the outcome. I don’t see anything that can be done. These are the rules of the competition and I really don’t think it can be changed,” the UWW chief told Indian reporters.
