Omar Gul Saeed Ajmal appointed bowling coach of Pakistan cricket team Pakistan Cricket Board

Omar Gul Saeed Ajmal PCB: Pakistan Cricket Board has made many changes in the team after the defeat in the World Cup 2023. The coaching staff has also been changed in this connection. PCB has handed over the responsibility of bowling coaches to Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal. Gul and Ajmal have performed well for Pakistan and are also excellent in terms of coaching. Ajmal will take charge of the spin department. Gul has been made the coach of fast bowling.

Umar Gul started taking up the responsibility of a coach after his retirement from international cricket. He was appointed coach by Quetta Gladiators for Pakistan Super League 2021. He has played the role of bowling coach for Afghanistan cricket team in 2022. Has also worked as the coach of Pakistan cricket team. He was given the responsibility for the home series against Afghanistan and New Zealand.

Talking about Saeed Ajmal, he has been the number 1 bowler in the ODI format. He has served as the bowling coach for Islamabad United. He retired from international cricket in 2017 and after that he has been playing the role of a coach whenever he got a chance.

Ajmal and Gul will take responsibility from the Test series between Pakistan and Australia starting from 14th December. T20 series will also be played between Pakistan and Australia.

Let us tell you that Umar Gul took 163 wickets in 47 test matches for Pakistan. He has taken 179 wickets in 130 ODI matches. Along with this, he took 85 wickets in 60 T20 International matches. Talking about Saeed Ajmal, he took 178 wickets in 35 test matches. With this, he took 184 wickets in 113 ODI matches. Saeed has taken 85 wickets in 64 T20 International matches.
