Vasan Bala said this about the series
Producer of this series Vasan Bala said, ‘Cinema is very special to me till death. I know the actors and creators of the pulp film industry and the films and worlds they create have always impressed me. So I am very happy that this docu-series provided me a wonderful opportunity to delve more deeply into this world as well as understand its emotions and mood. I must say that the entire team has worked hard to bring to the fore the stories of J Neelam, Vinod Talwar, Dilip Gulati and Kishan Shah and their journey of truth and self-respect. It was great working with young and extremely talented people like Disha (Randani), Zulfi and Kulish (Kant Thakur) to direct this episode. He further added, “I am sure viewers will enjoy this glimpse into this lesser-known filmmaking industry and I am glad that through Prime Video, we are taking this era of Indian cinema to a wider audience across the globe. ” Can take.
