Team India defeated Australia by 5 wickets in the first ODI. However, the return of the team’s regular captain Rohit Sharma in the second ODI against Australia is almost certain. In the absence of Rohit Sharma in the first match, all-rounder Hardik Pandya took over the captaincy of the Indian team.
