Tech Layoffs In 2023 Microsoft Meta Facebook Amazon Salesforce And Other Announce Big Job Cuts

Tech Companies Layoff in 2023: The year 2023 was not good for tech companies. Due to the fear of global recession and the Kovid-19 epidemic, companies ranging from tech companies to other sectors had laid off employees. Now this reduction is going to continue in 2023 as well, as many tech companies have announced to lay off more employees. These companies include Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce and others.

Consulting firm Gray and Christmas Inc had announced the layoffs of 52,771 people during the year 2022, out of a total of 80,978 cuts by tech companies globally. This is the biggest cut in a month by any industry since 2000. Recently, preparations have been made to lay off a large number of employees in Amazon and Microsoft.

Companies benefited during the epidemic

During the year 2020, tech companies provided the facility to work from home, after which there was a huge reduction in the expenses incurred by the companies. After this reduction, their profits also increased. There was also an increase in the shares, but now the companies are going towards losses. Due to this, preparations are being made to retrench the employees.
