What came the internet as if there was a flood of scams. Today, fraudsters trap people in their net in different ways and take away their hard earned money. According to a report by the Global NT Scam Alliance, online scanning is a major fraud method that causes a loss of $16 billion every year in India. Around 120 million online scams are registered in India every year. From this figure, you can guess at what level people are being targeted today through phishing or other scams.
But now to root out this phishing and online scam, Tanla has come up with an anti-phishing AI platform whose accuracy is around 99%. The company introduced the AI platform at the Mobile World Congress which was held in Barcelona. At present, the trial of this platform is being done on VI’s network. This platform is being connected not only to the mobile operator but also to other platforms like Google, WhatsApp so that phishing messages do not reach people in any way.

How does this platform work?
Actually, the anti-phishing platform is an AI powered tool that identifies the message in seconds whether there is any message related to the scam in it. If something like this is found in the message, then immediately this platform blocks the message before reaching the receiver. Along with this, other platforms such as bank, OTT apps etc. are informed that this message is related to fraud. Apart from this, this platform sends the information of the sender to the companies so that next time he cannot do fraud with any other person. Note, this platform does not monitor or store any of your messages and it also follows the regulation of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
In simple language, just understand that this AI platform stops the messages related to fraud and scam with immediate effect and does not allow them to reach you so that fraud does not happen. Currently, this platform can only analyze text messages. Tanla is also making a similar platform for voicecalls which will be introduced in the coming times. Actually, nowadays people are being made victims of fraud not only through text messages but also through voice calls. That’s why the company is working on it as well.
