According to National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data, most people commit suicide by hanging. After this, many people commit suicide by consuming this poison, while some commit suicide by jumping into water and setting themselves on fire in front of a train.
According to NCRB, in 2020 the maximum number of people committed suicide by hanging. In 2020, 57 percent people committed suicide by hanging. While 25.1 percent people committed suicide by consuming poison, 5.1 percent by jumping into water and 2.6 percent by immolating themselves.
