Stock Market Opening: The Indian stock market has started today with tremendous speed and the Sensex has crossed 60,000 in the opening of the new business week itself. The level of 17680 has also been crossed in Nifty and today the tremendous boom of IT shares has pulled the market up. Bank Nifty has started with strong momentum today and has crossed 41525.

Today the market has started with a good momentum and BSE’s 30-share index was trading at 60,007.04 with a gain of 198.07 points or 0.33 per cent at the time of opening. NSE’s 50-share index Nifty has managed to open at 17,680.35 with a gain of 86.00 points, or 0.49 per cent.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 28 have gained and 2 have fallen. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 44 stocks are trading with a boom and only 6 stocks are in the red mark of decline.

Today, in the pre-opening of the market, greenery was seen in the stock market and the BSE Sensex climbed 219.91 points i.e. 0.37 percent to the level of 60028. The NSE’s Nifty was up 89.10 points or 0.51 percent at the level of 17683.45.
