Stock Market Closing On 7 September 2023: In today’s trade, after noon, due to the strong buying of investors in the Indian stock market, the market has closed rapidly for the fourth consecutive session this week. Due to vigorous buying in banking stocks, this boom has been seen in the market, while the mid cap index has reached lifetime high. At the end of today’s trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 66,265 with a jump of 385 points and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 19,727 points with a jump of 116 points.

In today’s trade, there has been a strong rise in Nifty Bank. Nifty Bank closed at 55,878 points with a gain of 469 points or 0.98 per cent. Apart from this, shares of Auto, IT, Media, Energy, Infra, Consumer Durables 0.62 percent, Oil and Gas sector closed rapidly. While there has been a decline in the stocks of Healthcare, FMCG, Pharma sector. Mid cap and small cap index has again seen strong growth. Of the 30 Sensex stocks, 20 closed up and 10 closed down. Whereas, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 31 closed up and 19 closed down.

Rise in investor wealth
Due to the spectacular boom in the stock market, there has been a huge jump in the wealth of the investors. The market cap of companies listed on BSE has reached Rs 319.07 lakh crore, which was Rs 317.37 lakh crore in the previous session. That is, in today’s trading session, a jump of Rs 1.70 lakh crore has been seen in the market cap.

In today’s trade, Larsen 4.06 per cent, IndusInd Bank 2.36 per cent, Tech Mahindra 1.73 per cent, HCL Tech 1.47 per cent, Axis Bank 1.40 per cent, SBI 1.13 per cent, Kotak Mahindra closed with a gain of 1.10 per cent. While Sun Pharma closed down by 0.86 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 0.70 per cent, HUL by 0.66 per cent, Infosys by 0.65 per cent.
