Stock Market Closing Senses Near 66000 Level Again And Nifty Closed Near 19800 Level

Stock Market Closing: The Indian stock market remained in a strong bullish range throughout the day and its closing was also quite spectacular. Sensex has once again come near the level of 66000. It had even crossed this level in day trading. At the time of closing today, Nifty managed to close near 19800.

At what level did the stock market close?

BSE Sensex closed at the level of 65,930 with a rise of 275.62 points or 0.42 percent. NSE’s Nifty closed at the level of 19,783 with a rise of 89.40 points or 0.45 percent.

How was the condition of Sensex shares?

Today, 18 out of 30 Sensex stocks closed in the green with a rise, while 12 stocks closed with a fall. Among the top Sensex gainers, JSW Steel closed up 1.76 per cent, Tata Steel closed up 1.45 per cent, Titan closed up 1.44 per cent. Reliance Industries gained 1.24 percent and Sun Pharma closed 1.18 percent higher. Tata Motors remained with a gain of 1.02 percent.

Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 30 stocks registered a rise and 20 stocks closed in the decline range. Among the top gainers, SBI Life managed to close with a rise of 2.72 per cent, HDFC Life 2.24 per cent, Adani Enterprises 2.22 per cent, Hindalco 1.86 per cent and JSW Steel 1.75 per cent.

What were the special features of the market trade?

The stock market had opened strongly in the morning on the basis of good global signals. Its strength remained intact in intraday and the market got support from the strong rise of Realty Index along with Midcap-Smallcap in intraday. Nifty Realty Index reached record high in today’s trade. A tremendous rise was also recorded in consumer durables stocks.
