Stock Market Closes In Green Due To Buying In IT And Banking Stocks Midcap Index At Life Time High

Stock Market Closing On 4 September 2023: On the first trading day of the week, there has been a great boom in the Indian stock market. Strong buying was seen in global cues, banking and IT stocks. At the end of trading today, the BSE Sensex closed at 65,628 with a jump of 241 points and the National Stock Exchange Ra Nifty closed at 19,528 points with a jump of 93 points.

In today’s trade, there has been a strong rise in the Nifty IT index. Nifty IT has closed at 32,164 points with a gain of 650 points or 2.06 per cent. Apart from this, tremendous growth was seen in the index of banking, metals, energy, media, oil and gas, healthcare, government companies. The mid cap index has again closed at a record high. The Nifty Mid Cap index closed with a gain of 385 points or 0.98 per cent, while the Small Cap index gained 164 points. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 15 closed with gains and 15 closed with losses. Of the 50 Nifty stocks, 31 closed with gains and 19 with losses.
