SSC GD Constable 2025 Notification Released: Staff Selection Commission has released the notice for GD Constable posts. Thus the wait of lakhs of candidates is over. How many posts will be filled

Before the release of the notice, it was being speculated that this time recruitment could be between 40 to 45 thousand posts. However, this did not happen and this time through this recruitment drive of SSC GD, eligible candidates will be appointed on a total of 39481 posts.

Selected candidates will be selected for Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Special Security Force, National Investigation Agency.

Who can apply

Candidates who have passed 10th from a recognized board can apply for these vacancies, those who are giving the exam this year cannot apply. The age limit is 18 to 23 years. Selection will be done after passing several rounds like written examination, physical fitness test and medical test etc. Only those who pass one round will go to the next round and all the stages will have to be cleared for selection.
