75 rupees coin: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the new Parliament House on 28 May. A new coin of Rs 75 will also be released on this occasion, which will have many features. The Finance Ministry has issued a notification regarding the minting of new coins.

According to the notification of the Ministry of Finance, a coin of Rs 75 (Rs 75 Coin) will be launched on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament House. The weight of this coin will be 35 grams. It will have a mixture of 50 percent silver and 40 percent copper. There will be 5-5 percent nickel and zinc metals.

On the front side of this new coin of 75 rupees, the denomination of 75 rupees will be written under the Ashoka pillar. Apart from this, India will be written in Hindi and English on the right and left. On the other side of the coin, there will be a picture of the new Parliament House, on which the Parliament Complex will be written in Hindi and below in English. The year 2023 will be inscribed just below the picture of Parliament.

This coin is being minted at the Kolkata Mint of the Government of India. It will be launched by PM Modi during the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House. The Finance Ministry has said that this coin will be molded keeping in mind the rules of the First Schedule.

Opposition of some political parties

Let us tell you that political activities have increased in the country regarding the new Parliament House. Some political parties including the Congress have announced to boycott the inauguration of the new Parliament House. The opposing parties argue that the new Parliament House should be inaugurated by the President and not by the Prime Minister.

The Lok Sabha of the new Parliament House has 888 seats and the Visitors’ Gallery has seating for more than 336 people. At the same time, there are 384 seats in the new Rajya Sabha and the visitors’ gallery has a seating capacity of more than 336 people. Indian tradition as well as modernity have been taken care of in the construction of the new Parliament House. Its campuses are equipped with various state-of-the-art technologies.
