First of all, let us tell you that there are two important dates related to dividend – Ex-Dividend Date and Record Date. Ex-dividend date is the date on which the company adjusts the price of equity shares for the payment of dividend. This date is usually one or two working days before the record date. Similarly, record date is the date till the end of which the shareholders who come in the list of the company get the benefit of dividend.
It is a subsidiary of mining and metals conglomerate Vedanta Resources Limited. The company is going to pay a dividend of Rs 3.25 per share, for which the record date is 29 March. This share will be ex-dividend on March 29 itself. At the current share price, this is a dividend yield of 5.57 per cent. Its stock had closed at Rs 323.15 on BSE on Friday.
SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd.
This company is going to pay an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share of face value of Rs 10 for the financial year 2022-23. This stock will also go ex-dividend on March 29. On Friday it was at Rs 723 on BSE.
This company is going to pay an interim dividend of Rs 0.50 on every share of face value of Rs 10. The company has fixed March 30 as the record date for paying dividend, but it will become ex-dividend only on March 29. Now the price of its one share is Rs 210.40.
Angel One Ltd
Discount share broking company Angel One is going to pay interim dividend for the fourth time during the financial year 2022-23. The company has declared an interim dividend of Rs 9.60 per share of face value of Rs 10. The company has fixed March 31 as the record date and on this date it will also become ex-dividend.
Credit rating company Crisil has decided to pay an interim dividend at the rate of Rs 23 per share for the financial year 2022-23. This share will be ex-dividend on 31 March 2023. On Friday, Crisil shares fell 2.23 per cent to close at Rs 3,050 on the BSE.
Indraprastha Gas Ltd.
CNG and PNG distribution company IGL Limited has announced a dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for the financial year 2022-23. The company has fixed the record date on March 31 and on this date this share will also become ex-dividend. On Friday, it fell 1.59 per cent to close at Rs 432 on the BSE.
