SBI Chairman CS Setty says that biggest bank of India is planning to add 600 branches this financial year.

CS Setty: The country’s largest bank SBI has planned to further expand its network in this financial year. State Bank of India is preparing to open about 600 new branches in the financial year 2024-25. A large number of these will also be rural branches. SBI had opened 137 branches in the last financial year. Of these, 59 were opened in rural areas. SBI plans to reach close to every customer in the country. Also can expand your business.

SBI has 22,542 branches and 65,000 ATMs.

SBI Chairman CS Shetty said that at present we are focusing on emerging markets. We currently do not have access to many newly developed residential areas. We want to reach those areas rapidly. The target is to open around 600 branches this year. He said that with its help we will be able to provide better services to the customers. As of March 2024, there were 22,542 SBI branches in the country. Along with this, SBI also has 65,000 ATMs and 85,000 business correspondents.
