Lucknow: It has been learned that Sanatan Rakshak Sena workers have suddenly started removing the idols of Sai Baba from the temples of Varanasi city. Sanatan Rakshak Sanstha has till now removed the idols of Saibaba from 14 temples of the city and immersed them in the Ganga. It also includes a big Ganesh temple. Shirdi Saibaba has a large devotee community across the country. In such a situation, there is a possibility of a new controversy arising from this incident in Varanasi.
Sanatan Rakshak Sanstha will remove the idols of Sai Baba from 28 more temples in Varanasi. Sai Baba was a Muslim. They have nothing to do with Sanatan Hindu religion. We have no objection to anyone doing devotion and worship of Sai Baba. However, Ajay Sharma of Sanatan Rakshak Sangathan has taken the stand that we will not keep the idol of Sai Baba in Hindu temples.
For all this, Sanatan Rakshak Sangathan is citing a decision of the Supreme Court. Deepak Yadav of Sanatan Rakshak Sangathan claimed that in a Supreme Court decision Saibaba should be called Chandbaba. After discussing this on Sunday, Sanatan Rakshak Sangathan started removing the idols of Sai Baba from the temples of Varanasi from Monday. Originally, there should have been protest only when the idol of Sai Baba was installed in the temples. Priests and Brahmin community should avoid worshiping Sai Baba in temples. Those who want to worship Sai Baba should build a separate temple and worship him. Deepak Yadav also said that we are not against him.
Deepak Yadav was also asked why so many devotees of the country go to Shirdi? On this he said that till now all ideologies have been included in Hindu religion. How many people go to Shirdi? There is nothing wrong with that. Those who want to worship Sai Baba should do this puja. Yadav said, we will not interfere in anyone's personal life.
Mahant of Hanumangarhi temples also opposes Sai Baba
Due to lack of correct information, till now the idol of Sai Baba was worshiped in temples. Saibaba can be a religious guru, pir, avaliya, but God cannot be God. Therefore I thank those who removed the idols of Sai Baba from the temples of Varanasi. Mahant Raju Das of Hanumangarhi temple of Ayodhya said that Sanatani Mandals should remove the idols of Chandpir (Saibaba) from all the temples.
