Team India lost the series after 12 years
Along with losing the Test series against New Zealand, Team India also lost the record that had been going on for 12 years. Before losing a Test series at home against New Zealand in 2024, the Indian team last lost a Test series at home in 2012. From 2012 to 2024, Team India won 18 consecutive home Test series. Now Team India would like to win the third Test to be played against New Zealand in Mumbai at any cost. With the loss of the series, it seems difficult for Team India to reach the final of the World Test Championship.
