The Indian captain also revealed why Surya was sent down the order last. Rohit Sharma said, “He plays spin so well, which is why we wanted to stop him and give him the role of the last 15 to 20 overs. But it was very unfortunate that he could play only three balls in the series. This can happen with anyone. Efficiency, quality is always there. He is going through that phase right now.

India lost the third low score match

Significantly, Team India had to face defeat by 21 runs in the third match played in Chennai. Batting first, Australia got all out for 269 runs in 49 overs. Team India, which came out to chase the runs, was reduced to just 248 runs in 49.1 overs. Virat Kohli played the highest innings of 54 runs from India.
