Rohit Sharma said regarding Shreyas Iyer’s injury, there is nothing to worry about for Team India in World Cup 2023.

Iyer is a good option for batting at number 4. Whereas Akshar Patel plays the role of all-rounder very well. Rohit says Shreyas is fine. But it will take some time. Whereas for Akshar it was said that he can recover in 7 to 10 days.

According to a report in Cricbuzz, Rohit said about Shreyas, “I know how Shreyas is. He could not play in the final match. There are some parameters due to which he remained out. But now they have met all the standards. They are 99 percent fine. They seem fine. He batted well and also fielded for hours. Shreyas has worked hard on the field. So he seems fine at the moment.

Rohit responded regarding the letter. He said, “I am not sure about the alphabet.” He has suffered a minor injury. It seems that they will recover in a week or 10 days. Now it remains to be seen how he recovers from the injury, because every player’s situation is different. Some players recover quickly. I think that’s the thing with Akshar. I am not completely sure whether it would be right for him to play in the initial matches against Australia or not.

It is noteworthy that Akshar played the last match for Team India in Asia Cup 2023 against Bangladesh. After this he was out due to injury. In his absence, Washington Sundar was given a place in the team. Shreyas played his last match against Nepal. Since then he has been walking outside.
