The team’s star batsman Rajat Patidar may be out of the first half of this IPL season due to his heel injury. Rajat Patidar, who plays from Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket, is currently rehabbing at the National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru. Patidar was an important batsman for RCB in IPL 2022. He won the team with his century in the Eliminator match.
According to ESPNcricinfo’s report, Patidar has been advised rest for three weeks due to his injury. Then, after the MRI scan, it will be decided whether he will be able to play for his team in the rest of the tournament or not. If reports are to be believed, Patidar was already injured before joining the RCB camp. Now to join the IPL, he will need to get approval from the National Cricket Academy.
There will be a change in the batting lineup!
After the injury of Rajat Patidar, a change can be seen in the batting of RCB. RCB Director of Cricket Mike Hesson had earlier said that Virat Kohli will open with captain Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar will handle the number three position. In such a situation, if Patidar is out, then a change in the lineup of RCB is certain.

Rajat Patidar went unsold in the mega auction and was included in the team in place of wicket-keeper batsman Lunvith Sisodia. Lunwith Sisodia was out of the team due to injury. After this, Rajat Patidar won everyone’s heart with his batting.

In IPL 2022, Rajat Patidar won the team with his brilliant century in the eliminator match played against Lucknow Super Giants. Coming at number three, he scored an unbeaten 112 runs in 54 balls with the help of 12 fours and 7 sixes. RCB won this match by 14 runs.
