Leading RCB for the last decade was the most fun and memorable phase of my career. What did Virat say about Smriti
Kohli further added that, "Now it’s time for another number 18, who will be leading a very special RCB team in the Women’s Premier League. Yes, we are talking about Smriti Mandhana. Wish you all the best Smriti, you will get the support of the best team and fans in this franchise." Smriti has captained earlier also. He captained Maharashtra in domestic cricket. Apart from this, he also played the role of stand-in-captain for the Indian team in the absence of Harmanpreet.
Smriti said that "I think with the Women’s Premier League, a wonderful time has now begun for women’s cricket. You can see for yourself that how people are accepting women’s cricket in India now and how eager people are. I have captained domestic teams since the age of 16. I have led the Maharashtra team.
