IND vs AUS 3rd Test: On the second day of the third Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 (BGT 2023), R Ashwin has registered a big achievement in his name. Ashwin took three wickets in the first session of the second day of the Test being played between India and Australia in Indore. Taking out the wicket of Peter Handscomb first, he equaled Kapil Dev’s record of 687 international wickets. Then, Ashwin overtook Kapil Dev while sending Alex Carey to the pavilion. Ashwin did not stop here. He bowled Nathan Lyon to take his international wicket tally to 689.
