PSL 2023 Shadab Khan all out for 90 runs against Islamabad United Lahore Qalandars

Lahore Qalandars vs Islamabad United: The 16th match of Pakistan Super League 2023 was played between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United. This match between the two teams took place at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. In the match against Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars performed tremendously and registered their second consecutive win of the current season. In this match, Lahore defeated the Islamabad team by 110 runs. Abdullah Shafiq and David VJ played an important role in winning the match for the Lahore team. In this match, the team of Islamabad United, captained by Shadab Khan, could not even score 100 runs.

Shadab Khan’s team piled on 90 runs

Islamabad United started well to achieve the target of 201 runs for the win. Colin Munro and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who came out to start the innings, added 41 runs for the first wicket. Munro 18 and Gurbaj were dismissed after scoring 23 runs. After this the middle order of the team faltered. The condition of bowling of Lahore Qalandars was such that 8 batsmen of Islamabad team did not reach even double digits. Shadab Khan’s entire team was bundled out for 90 runs in 13.5 overs. David VJ took the maximum 3 wickets from Lahir Qalandars. Apart from them, Rashid Khan and Sikandar Raza got 2-2 wickets. David VJ, who performed all-round in the match, was awarded the Player of the Match.
