PM Modi thanks Neeraj Chopra's mother for churma: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked Neeraj Chopra's mother Saroj Devi. PM Modi wrote a letter, in which he thanked Neeraj Chopra's mother for sending him handmade churma. Narendra Modi received this special gift when he was having dinner with the Prime Minister of Jamaica last Tuesday. Meanwhile, PM Modi also met Neeraj Chopra.

PM Modi wrote in his letter, “Respected Saroj Devi ji, I hope you are healthy. Yesterday, I got a chance to meet Neeraj Bhai at the banquet on the occasion of the visit of the Prime Minister of Jamaica to India. My happiness increased further during the discussion with him. When he gave me this delicious churma, I couldn't stop myself from writing a letter to you. This gift full of affection and affection reminded me of my mother.”

Will eat churma in Navratri

The Prime Minister of India said that it is a matter of good fortune for him that he has received a gift in the form of churma during Navratri. PM Modi said, “I fast for all 9 days of Navratri. In a way, this churma of yours has become my main food before my fast.” He also said that just like Neeraj Chopra wins medal for the country after eating delicious food prepared by his mother, similarly this churma will give him the energy to serve the nation for the next 9 days. Talking about Neeraj Chopra, he won the silver medal in Paris Olympics 2024. After that he had to be satisfied with second place in Diamond League 2024.
