PM Modi Applauds Surekha Yadav: India’s first female pilot Surekha Yadav recently added another feather to her cap when she piloted the Vande Bharat train. Surekha Yadav is not only India but Asia’s first woman lotto pilot. Praising her on this great achievement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) wrote that this is the confidence of the women power of the new India.
Praising Surekha Yadav from his official Twitter account handle, PM Modi wrote that the achievements women are registering their names in every sphere of life today, assure the realization of the country’s resolutions in Amritkal.

While talking to ANI, Surekha Yadav had said that I am very thankful to Indian Railways. I am very happy that the Railways has once again given me this golden opportunity in my 34 years of service. Please tell that Surekha Yadav had run the Vande Bharat train between Solapur to CSMT on March 13, 2023. On 10 February 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the train.

Surekha is a resident of Maharashtra
Surekha Yadav is from Satara, Maharashtra. She is not only India but Asia’s first woman driver. He had the distinction of operating the train for the first time in the year 1988. He has also received many awards from the state and central government for his achievements. By operating the Vande Bharat train on March 13, he had added a new chapter to his list of achievements. Surekha Yadav left Solapur at the right time and reached the CSMT 5 minutes before the train. On 8 March 2011, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, she also operated a train named Deccan Queen between Pune to CSMT Mumbai.
Vande Bharat train started from Solapur and CSMT
Vande Bharat train is a semi high speed train made of 100 percent indigenous technology. This train was run for the first time between Varanasi and Delhi. At the same time, in the month of February, the operation of Vande Bharat train was started between Mumbai and Solapur.
