Paris 2024 Indian wrestlers react to Vinesh Phogat: The 11th day of Paris Olympics 2024 was special for Indian athletes. While Neeraj Chopra managed to make it to the finals in athletics, Vinesh Phogat first won her quarter-final match. After that, she managed to make it to the finals by winning the semi-final match. With this, Vinesh Phogat created history by reaching the finals of the Olympic wrestling event (50 kg freestyle category). Vinesh Phogat managed to win the match by defeating her 3-2 in the last few moments. After this, in the Round of 4, Vinesh Phogat defeated Oxana Livach 7-5 to secure a place in the semi-finals.

Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik, while talking to ESPN after the match, said – “This is not Vinesh’s usual style. She is usually aggressive. But Susaki is a very smart and experienced player, so Vinesh changed her strategy today. She fought very smartly. She did not make any unnecessary attacks, because one mistake could have given Susaki a chance. This was a great strategy.”

After this, Sakshi Malik shared an emotional post on the social media platform X. Apart from this, Bajrang Punia also could not stop his emotions and shared it on X.
