The name of an electric vehicle company may soon be added to the investment portfolio of Nikhil Kamath, one of the top new-generation entrepreneurs. Zerodha co-founder Nikhil has already made significant investments in many companies. He has made most of the investments in the last one-two years.

According to an ET report, Nikhil will soon launch a Bengaluru based electric two-wheeler. You can make a good investment in the company Ather Energy. It has been said in the report that this investment of Nikhil can be done through secondary sale of shares. In such deals, an old shareholder sells his holding. In this the deal is done between the old shareholder and the new investor. This means that the company has no direct role in such deals, nor does the company get any money from the deal.
Their support to Ather Energy
Ather Energy is an electric vehicle startup company. Which is supported by investors like Tiger Global. This company competes with companies like Ola Electric. Ather Energy has received funding of about Rs 900 crore this month from two-wheeler company Hero MotoCorp and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC.
Inputs Rs 100 crore in Nazara Tech
ET According to the news, it is not yet clear through which entity Nikhil is going to invest in Ather Energy. However, generally Nikhil invests money in any company through Kamath Associates and NK Squared. Earlier this month, he had invested Rs 100 crore in e-gaming company Nazara Technologies. This was a post-IPO investment.
Invested in last year
Before Nazara Technologies, Nikhil Kamath had invested in Main Street through seed funding this year. Earlier in 2022, he had invested in 4 startup companies. They include Meta Man, Licious, Nas Academy and Growth School. Nikhil had invested in Lisius in the Series F round, while the other three were funded in the Seed round.
